aaaah!! i started working on this like,, at 5pm or something, and i just finished it, and it's like 10pm rn here! of course i wasn't non-stop drawing this and i took quite long breaks, but this still felt like it took forever, but to be completely honest i feel like none of that time went to waste! i just rly love this and aaah!! ;v; fun fact; this was actually inspired by my old drawing of the same scene, which i accidentally closed without saving, and didn't have the motivation to start it again.
but yeah, i actually really like smudge, and rusty, and this scene. i actually didn't really like smudge before, but maybe about a year ago i was watching the sss warrior cats and i just went < 3 at smudge and his voice. haha :'). i also tried to get out of my comfort zones at some points, and i think it was worth it! i rarely do almost anything that i did in this pic. the shading, linearting, anything. but i am just really happy about how this turned out!
